Platypus are often seen in the creek

As part of a Group Watch monitoring program run by the Australian Platypus Conservancy, members of the Strath Creek Landcare Group are joined by members of King Parrot Creek Environment Group to survey the King Parrot Creek for platypus and rakali (native water rat) at set locations each year, with results posted on the Focus on Fauna website.
